Pump Control Valve (PCV) System
Enclosure may vary depending on the specifications of the product (water-proof/explosion-proof, Single-Phase/Three-Phase Power).
Description
RPMTECH's Pump Control Valve (PCV) System is comprised of a fail-safe MHP (or DHP) Quarter-Turn Actuator attached to a quarter-turn valve. It is a compact, all-in-one solution that is capable of advanced control modes and fail-safe features optimized for Motor Pumps of any size. The actuators do not require a gearbox (the cause of many breakages) allowing for direct and efficient delivery of power for reliable use. Also, the PCV System is capable of detecting the motor pump's on//off status to prevent any backflow of the internal fluid to the pump. This system does not require a swing check valve or a surge tank.

Summary
Pump Control Valve (PCV) System
Pump Control Valve (PCV) system compatible with any motorized pump
Fluid Flow Control
Backflow and Water Hammer
Reduced Costs
RPMTECH's PCV System is equipped with advanced control modes that allow for precise flow control. This all-in-one system is the result of advanced research and development
The Speed Control Mode allows for immediate opening and closing of the valve (backflow prevention) with an added damping effect to absorb the shock from water hammering effect during a power loss or emergency.
The absence of a swing check valve allows for a more efficient operation of the pump. The advanced control modes that partially absorb the pressure from the water hammering effect will result in a smaller (if not nonexistent) surge tank. For these reasons this system is a smart and cost-saving solution.

Fail-Safe Options
Opens or Closes the valve during power loss or emergencies
Counterweight Type:
The hydraulic pressure used to operate the valve simultaneously lifts and stores potential energy in the counterweight. During a power loss or emergency, the stored energy is released and the hydraulic fluid is directed via the solenoid valve to open or close the primary valve.
UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply):
The UPS is essentially a backup power source that is useful during a power loss or emergency. The absence of auxiliary mechanical parts allows for the addition of Fail-Safe features at a lower cost.
